"Sui" stands for «Selbsthilfe, Unterstützung, Informationen» (in English: self-help, support, information). The app is aimed at people who are new to Switzerland (e.g. refugees or other newcomers). It contains information about life in Switzerland, on topics such as the asylum procedure, residence status, work and education, social integration or the healthcare system. It also contains low-threshold psychological content, exercises and tips on how to deal with stress, sleep problems or pain and how to help oneself. In addition, users receive low-threshold psychosocial support in their native language from a companion (peer) for several weeks. The app will be publicly available in German and Arabic from 2024. Other languages will follow. __The Sui Study__ Currently, the Sui App is being tested for its effectiveness with Arabic-speaking adults at the University of Bern. For the study, until the end of September 2023, we are still looking for __Arabic-speaking adult participants who have lived in Switzerland for less than five years. __ Help us find study participants by drawing attention to our study in your networks personally, via flyers (see downloads) or via social media.
