Practical tips from the interactive FCOS Box

More than one in two occupational accidents take place in the service sector, as do complaints involving the muscles and posture that can be avoided or lessened by working according to ergonomic principles. Practical tips for improved health and safety at work are provided in the brochure published by the Federal Coordination Commission for Occupational Safety FCOS. An entertaining approach through illustrations from the FCOS Box ( show, among others, the ideal height for an office table and chair and the optimal distance between the eyes and the computer screen as well as tips on how to prevent accidents, and planning and furnishing the office.
